1 Courage Within) This song was written for a very close friend who battled through a disability that caused her a lot of pain but even though she suffered it did not stop her from enjoying life up until she passed away in July 10th 2000. (This ones for you Val)
2) Open your Eyes) This is too let people know that its does not have too come down too taking your life their is help and think off what your doing don't be afraid too tell someone that you have a problem or someone is tormenting you speak out
3) What would it be Like) Yes what would it be like without war or violence but that all you hear these days is someome being murdered or theres another war when is it all going to end
4) Cry for the Children) starving children not just in our countries but all over war stricken countries that have no food or houses no clean water too drink.. Think how lucky we are but we have these problems but what are we doing about it
5) Face to Face) addiction can hit us all when we least suspect it but its how you deal with it thats the real battle but through will power and the will too quit it can be done talk it out don't be afraid to express your felling in that way you can understand your addiction and stop
6) Hard to start Over) Women and Men go through this every day abuse of their spouse it should be reported more and stiffer jail time
but what do we do about it that what should be talked more about. What do we do
7) Lost Child) Teenagers should be getting an education playing sports and having fun not starving and homless with parents that don't give a damm the parents should be held more accountable and spend more time in jail for neglect.
8) Let Go) its a thing we all have too face in our lifetime is the loss of someone In my way off thinking losing one of my parents and a very close friend and grandparents its very sad too go through it but if you believe that even though you cannot see them their with you always and someday when it time we all be together.
9) Choices) This song is about choices you make in life wether your a good person or a bad person and what you choose will come back on you someday. if you choose bad it will catch up with you and will pay
10) Survive) its about just being aware of your surroundings being safe in these times of guns and violence we have to protect ourself from these monsters out there that want to do us harm
11) Break Free) everybody in someway has a disability in some ways just because you can see it society sometimes thinks that if you have a disability that your knowledge of things that are around is limited which is not true, its getting better since the 40th through the 60s where disabled persons had to live in hospitals and other horrible places but things have changed through the years that know we can voice our opinions and be apart of society and not be shut out. I grew up in the 60s and I saw where if you had a disability you were looked down upon as a child..
break free is about freedom from being segregated from society and thought of as not having knowledge of the things that were around me were not perfect and this is not a perfect world thats what I am saying in this song......
12) Strangers from Above) its about the possiblity that somewhere in this vast space that we inhabit there might be another form of life somewhere out there
and just mabey they have come in contact with us. just open minded tothe fact.... that's why I wrote this one.
